HOC Refurbished Systems

We generally have ‘refurbished’ systems on hand that are a good cost-effective fit for specific users and/or operations.  These units are basically 4-5 generations back, however, are really solid units for Internet, Email, and Basic Applications.  And the price is right!  Our refurbished process is to completely partition, format/wipe the hard drive, load operating system, perform all windows updates, install all drivers (video, network, etc.), install common ‘free applications’ (Adobe Reader, iTunes, OpenOffice) for ‘ready to use’ systems.  Most of these are in the $250-$350 range.  Give us a call for options available!

System failure troubleshooting, operating system fix/upgrades, virus & spyware removal, boot problems/failure analysis, unexpected locking.


HOC “REMOTE” Computer Support:

It doesn’t matter if you’re 1 or 1000 miles away – if your computer/server has an Internet connection we can remote in and fix most problems or perform maintenance.  This can often be done within a 24 hour period getting your system up and operational much quicker.  If the problem is too serious and blocks our access, or is hardware related, you may then explore the extra effort/cost of breaking down and taking to a local support service.  Still, even in this state, we can offer consultations in your best interests or interact with the local techs on your behalf.


Backup Plans – Performance and/or Training:

We’ll assist you in designing and setting up backup plans for some or all of your computer systems, personal and/or business systems, ensuring critical data is maintained in a safe manner.  External Hard Drives for Local backups, Cloud backup options for Offsite backups and Disaster Recovery, manual and/or automated backup setup assistance.

 

Applications Training:
Training for individuals or small groups in Internet & Email Operations, Windows, MSWord, MSExcel, MSAccess and MSPowerPoint.
